Information

The Information screen is your only true companion during those hard days at sea and while carousing around towns. Think of it as your personal journal and to-do list of sorts.

Pressing the select button when out on the ocean can bring up the Information window, or when at towns, by choosing the "Check Information" tab.

'Party Status' gives the numerical data like amount of crew and items, plus the general mood of the crew.

My crew is happy... no mutiny today, no sirree!

'Ship's Log' keeps a journal of events that happen during expeditions.

'Maps' lets you scroll through the available maps of treasure or family members that have not yet been found.

'City Information' can come in handy when preparing an attack on a town.

Whenever you visit a town, the numerical values of money, citizens, and able defense get recorded here for future reference.

'Take Sun Sight' is the most unordinary of the options in the Information window.

Essentially by lining up the "pole-like device" with the yellow sun, the location in latitude becomes available to quickly look where on the map your ship is stopped at.

How or why this is a big feature is still yet to be determined.

And finally to 'Search' is to dig for buried treasure or finding plantations when on land.

If you're searching in the wrong spot or not close enough, the search will be called off and three days wasted.
