Hi, I hope you can help me out. I saw the review on your site for Mega Joy II and you said the origin is China. I am trying to find out the name of the company in China that makes the Mega Joy II. Any chance you can help me out Many thanks Rob

Hey there Rob. Sorry there was no company name given on the accessory's box (or on the pirate, itself) at all. I searched on another site (The Nintendo Repoistory) and they didn't know its company origin either (http://www.gamersgraveyard.com/repository/nes/pirate/pirate-clones-A-M.html).

I'm just presuming the Mega Joy is a product example from one of those shady pirate companies that never had a true name. Peace.

Hey, I was looking through your site. I really like it. I'm a huge fan of old school games, I really love the creative ideas you put together on your site.

Well I was wondering if you would like to join my gaming network.

Heres what I have to offer:

Hosting options include:
- As much space as needed
- CGI, Email, SSI, PHP, MYSql
- FTP Access
- Control Panel
- 10 gigs bandwidth
- Unlimited subdomains
- Forum in our GCN community(Vb)
- Very rare downtime

OR

We can do an exchange of some kind.

Let me know if you're intrested. The GCN(GameCord Network) site is at http://www.gamecord.com

I'm surprised by how many of these e-mails I do get compared to the 'fan' and question mail. Guys, for future reference, anymore of these messages will be placed in a future edition of mailbag followed by me busting on your baby momma. Uhm, hoe.

sup,
just visited your site for the first time, pretty nice, but anyway, i have some controllers you don't have listed on your accessories page. if i can (i dont have a digital camera or anything so it might take some time) would you want pictures/descriptions of them?
they are:

Arkanoid Controller
Zinger (Like a flight stick, but lime green)
MEGA Controller (Programmable, takes batteries)
Sensui Joypad (Has a jack in it for HEADPHONES)
and a few others i can't think of...

anyway, just let me know, and i'll be glad to help.
also a suggestion, even though it's been over done, you might wanna add a prototypes page.

Ayo.

Sounds like you have quite a few rare controllers, it really would be great if you could get some pictures and attach some info on to them. We love having submissions. Also let me know what name I should include to give you credit.

About the prototypes page, I have two problems with the idea... #1- I would definitely get grief from a few webmasters if I contacted the same owners of the prototypes that already have identical pictures/info featured on other NES sites. #2- I have no protos of my own, unfortuantely. And, like you have already said, it's been done almost to the point of overkill. Adding the same game info/pictures that other sites have up isn't all too helpful. Thanks for the suggestion, anyway.

Glad you enjoyed Player. Come again.

Peace.
-Mike

What channel do you guys hang out in? DALNet, EFNet, etc?

The one I (as well as the rest of the staff) frequent is #nes_chat (or #nes_player) on esper.net. I've heard rumors about this other place, too- #zebbo or something to that effect. Rumor has it they're a bunch of ignorant pieces.

Does this e-mail contain subliminal gay-bashing notations? If so, we truly apologize to our gay, NES-loving audience. Purple Rain kicked all ass.

Subject: Broken Links
You may wish to note that all of your links to specific shows under the TV Shows/Cartoons section of NES Player are broken (page in question is is http://www.nesplayer.com/television/index.htm). You used backslashes instead of forward slashes in separating directories, breaking the links. Glad to see that NES stuff is still surviving somewhere...

Maybe I've had too much Zinfadel in the past hour, but all the links that make up the section you are referring to work perfectly for moi. You might need to 'refresh' your browser if you use Microsoft's piece of sheei- er, software.. No, I had it right the first time. Sheeit.
