ATTENTION DUKE NUKEM:

We've got ourselves into a serious problem over at the Abnormal Studies branch department of our EDF (Earth Defense Federation) headquarters in Philadelphia. Some test subject aliens, due to a glitch in the computer storage system, have escaped and caused a great deal of damage to the sector's building coordinates. Most, if not all, staff are currenting at a missing status. We need your help to check out the situation and terminate anything that might have survived the incident...

The internal water pressure and power circuits inside have been greatly severed. Use extreme caution when you roam the inside. A manual security lock was triggered by a computer technican to trap storage tank escapees from the main hall. Find a key card from one of the technicans inside of the computer terminal room. You must retrieve a key to open that lock to proceed further!

Unfortunately the secure lock has not held some of the aliens, and they have made their way out of the facility and into an adjacent suburbian residence. Take the agency's helicopter to the site and eliminate each and every one of them.

Take note that some of the escaped aliens are very powerful. Have no shame to run for cover if you must. Just make sure you take down those reject alien scumbags. They ain't coming back to the facility alive.

One more thing: Our intelligence shows that a larger extraterrestrial might have also escaped. Watch yourself, Duke.
