2/21- I know I'll end up regretting this, but, what really do I do that doesn't end with immense guilt and regret? Check out NP's new message board. 11/04- One verdict is in on Messiah Entertainment Inc.'s long-waited (and long-delayed) Generation NEX NES system, and VintageComputing.com is not impressed. In related news, Playmessiah.com, the official site of Gen NEX, has posted a compatibility list of which NES games will or will not work with the new system. It seems NES players still have a bit of waiting to do before the Second Coming hits.

6/19-TMNT 2: The sequel to the new TMNT series video game was announced at E3 this year for the GC/PS2/XB. Along with 4-player support is the most exciting news I heard in a very long time: the arcade version will be included (the one that the TMNT2: The Arcade for the NES was based on), also with 4-player support! Cowabunga!

6/19-Arrr!: Sid Meier is developing a sequel to the esteemed Pirates! series. Wobble your peg leg over to Atari for more info & then set sail for our Pirates! NES game coverage.

6/19-FF Classics: Square/Enix announced at this year's E3 that they will be releasing the classic NES/FC Final Fantasy's 1&2, along with new stories and updated gameplay and dungeons, on the GBA. By the looks of the screen shots, it's safe to say this will be much more than a simple port job.

6/19-Woo: It's been reported that John Woo has signed on to make a film based on the game Spy Hunter, slated for a 2005 release, and starring The Rock. My predictation: it will suck hard. Rock hard. Woo also has plans for a Metroid movie.

6/19-TMNT (NES) on GBA?: Disappointed with the Classic Line of games out for the GBA? It seems the latest issue of Nintendo Power (Zelda Four Swords is on the cover) is polling readers to see what future NES releases they'd like to see. Contra, Metal Gear, Punch Out!!, Skate or Die, TMNT, and Kid Icarus are among the titles listed. Oh please, Nintendo. Pretty please! 6/19-2nd Series: Japanese gaming public now has the 2nd series of Famicom Minis (named "Classic Line" here). They are: Mario Bros., Balloon Fight, Clu Clu Land, Wrecking Crew, Twin Bee, Dig Dug, Adventure Island [yes!], Dr. Mario, Ghosts 'n Goblins, and Gambare Goemon [oh please come].
