Catchy, Pointless Quote: "Check it out, man!"

Name: Bart Simpson Joystick
Company: Cheetah

Cheetah invented the concept of the "CharacterStick", that is, placing a cartoon or movie figure's body onto a joystick handle. These joysticks were not only made for the NES but also for the Atari and then adapted to even more systems. Batman, Terminator, Alien, and The Simpsons are among the characters transformed into joystick controllers.

I picked up the Bart Simpson joystick from an eBay auction in Italy. As shown in the picture below, atop Bart's head is the "B" button, with two "A" buttons and a turbo switch to control the frequency of fire. "Start" and "Select" are in the back of the stick.

The joystick competes fairly well, although I won't be replacing my Advantage with it anytime soon. It looks cool and I'm sure it will prove to raise a few eyebrows from other NESers. Pick it up for that reason alone.
