This pink eye sore is actually a system cleaner. It originally came with the cartridge, and cleaning fluid in a bottle. The fluid is applied to the cartridge connector piece and then inserted into the NES. This odd cleaning technique is fairly close to the cleaning kit released by Nintendo around the same time. Think pink.
