Don't be fooled by the looks! This ain't no Milton Bradley Battleship! This is actually a NES accessory called the U-Force.

What is a U-Fource you ask? Simply by plugging the U-Force into one of the two joystick ports on the front of the Nintendo system, it enabled you to control the configuration of any NES game you want. Sound wasteful? Baby boo, it was!

Although a good idea on pen and paper, the U-Force died out quickly and eventually was thrown into the junk pile with the likes of ROB and the cheesy Power Glove. FORCEFULLY! Uh oh. You sunk my battleship. ):
