Statement:
The game sprite archive stores hundreds of
"ripped" graphics from a vast assortment of
NES video games. All images were saved by the local
spritemaster himself, Lisker.
The
majority of the pictures could once be seen on The
Sub-Con Lair, Lisker's former site, which was once consistently update
this library made the archive what it is today. The
sprites have now made their way to their final resting
place on NES
Player for storage.
Any
of the below .gifs are available publicly for use on
personal websites. We only insist that these three simple
guidelines be met.
1.)
A link to NES Player
is placed in the desired site's links page, or a banner
image on an affiliate page, so we both help each other
out.
2.)
That the use of these images are subject to (but not
limited to) enhance one's website imagery. We strongly
advise against adding the below images for use on a
"pictures page", to archive game sprites,
or any other image-specific page as it's not helpful
to merely copy the same images for that sole purpose.
Appropriate usage can include the enhancement of visuals
in a sprite comic, a review, an article, a shrine, etc.
3.)
Take
Note: These sprites are, in fact, copyrighted images
and belong to their respected owner companies and artists.
We do not claim in any way to hold the copyrights or
permission to display them on this site. We see ourselves
as supporting the hard-working graphic artists and companies
they work for by making sure their works are appreciated
in the years to come, instead of remaining desolate
inside of an old generation's game code. Any images
are subject to removal if the owner/s deem the action
necessary.
