Autopia/Indy
Speedway
Although
I don't have any experience with this ride,
I can still judge it fairly well from viewing
it from a vantage point on the Tomorrowland
Transit Authority: your wait in line is longer
than this short, slow-paced, single lap across
a no-thrills track in a gocart. The one in Disneyland
is considered far superior, but rating the one
in WDW...

Adventures
in the Magic Kingdom: Autopia
This
level has my favorite music in the game. The
Advantage needs to do a cover. Anyway, here
you control a little car as you race against
Panhandle Pete and the other go-karts in a race
to the finish. Well, in actuality, you're only
competing against the clock - you only need
to finish the level completely to win the event.
Pushing
up will accelerate, and remember, to always
hold down the A button. Brake is B but shouldn't
be used except for one part of the race (more
on that later).
Tip:
I prefer to stick to the right side of the
road for the most part. I find it easier.
Always
accelerate before going on these jumps. Glide
your car to each platform.
The
last wooden plank has a moving bridge. Slow
down as soon as you drive onto it. Brake just
before the draw bridge and accelerate as soon
as it is safe to cross. Remember to be fast
as the bridge will soon vanish again.
The
level is pretty fun, but I can't say it's all
too unique. It's missing a certain "Disney
feel" to it. That's probably due to the
fact that the real ride isn't anything special
in and of itself. If only the real ride had
jumps like these. There are better rides for
Capcom to feature in the game.
