8. Venice Beach Volleyball

Instructions (pg 2)

Worry not, Super V'Ball and Kings of the Beach, you are still and always will be the real kings of the digital beach on the Nintendo. Maybe it's a bit premature to begin by saying something of that sort. Venice Beach Volleyball is a decent enough little title to enjoy in small doses. It offers good control, some nice visual touches (), and when a good play occurs, such as deflecting a ball over the other guy's net, a small crab scrambles onto the field and carries the ball away. What can I say, it's the little things in life that make me a happy boy.

"It is the most radical summer sport at the coolest hangout in the world" or so it says on the Maxi 15 game selection screen. I can't help but think that they could have offered a tad more extremeness to the players for hammering out the game's total circumference of radicalness by leaving "Bob" and "Howard" at home. The ladies are a little better suited, with "chick" names like Bambi and Morica. Last but not least, because apparently black people like to play volleyball too, there's Jamile. Oh Jamile. Don't worry about him. He's only in the tournament for a threesome with Bambi and Morica, who are age 18 and legal, according to the game.

The simple pleasures of spring break.
"SHOW US YOUR TITS!"

Is it Gay Day at the beach?

Apparently only an audience of the same skin color could applaud two black men after winning a volleyball tournament. AVE has truly revealed how racially intolerant we all are!
