Ghostbusters

Old school ghost blasting fun best describes Ghostbusters on the NES. Starting out as a movie which spawned off a sequel, a department store of merchandise, a TV cartoon show, and a theme song that is as memorable as any other major Hollywood soundtrack. Ghostbusters came to be much more than just a success. It became an 80's popculture landmark. It's only implied that a video game deal was to come.

GB features very simplistic gameplay through and through. As a ghostbuster, you travel throughout the city upgrading your ride and blasting any ghosts that stand in your way. Not too much of a description, but then again, not much of a game depth/length-wise. Still, it well deserves getting the last spot of the countdown even if can become tiring pretty quickly (Zuul's impossible stairway, anyone?). Still I'm not knocking these ghost hunters! I would recommend getting your Halloween freaky groove on starting out at the basics. 'Cause really who else ya gonna call?
