Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

The number eight game could be considered a horror in two ways: for the video game's apparent dark storyline and also its possessively, devilishly, bad game-play issues. These "issues" make the game more like a ghastly scream to win and a generally huge frustration thanks to the poorly constructed control scheme.

You should already know the story by now (you really don't need an English major), but I'll humor you and refresh your memory. A mad doctor invents a strange potion, then drinks the potion that transforms him into a monster-like creature called Mr. Hyde and now the doc is granted special powers. Caught the mistake in my description? The last part can only be done in the game, of course. Onward to the gaming adventures! The biggest fright of the game has to be the unbearingly horrendous play. (Did I accomplish making that sound really, really bad? ..Good.) If you want blood-cuddling terror, as a gamer, check out the leader of the pack: Dr. J & Mr. H.

Some side effects from playing for longer than 30-minute intervals are as follows: uncontrollable anger, violent frustration, sudden monsterous instincts, and blood-thirsty split-personalities. Consult a doctor if played more than an hour for professional advice.
