MONSTER IN MY POCKET

Looking for an entertaining, light-hearted side of Halloween? Look no further, there is Monster In My Pocket! MIMP is a classic action/side scroller that has two chooseable main characters: Dracula and Frankenstein. MIMP gets the ninth spot mainly because it plays very smoothly, as jumping and slashing foes is as responsive as it comes on the NES, and for it contains a fun, yet typical, Halloween cast for you to do the "Monster Mash" together with.

Digging deeper into this little title's game-play graveyard, MIMP's feature of two different characters is a great idea but unfortunately fails to utilize the simple premise that each should have his own unique abilities. Instead, the game uses the same control and moves for both identically. Getting beside this peeve, the rest of this game is child's play. Literally. What we have here is a fun-filled game pak that is a perfect recipe (straight from the witch's caldron) to get into the festive mood.
