the people who brought you Crash Boys Challenge and the
crowd-pleasing favorite, River City Ransom, comes Ike
Ike! Nekketsu Hockey-Bu (translated into: Crash 'n the
Boys: Ice Challenge). Though never released outside of Japan,
this is my favorite of Technos titles and certainly the most fun.
The game-play is almost straight out of the simplicity-is-key
premise of Ice Hockey, only bettering it with colorful
characters and graphics. Awesome, awesome game.

'N Ice, like all good puzzles games before it, works an elementary
approach to game-play and slightly hikes the difficulty up per
advancing level. This is one of the unsung gems of the system--great
graphics, challenging, and unique.

Hit
the Ice, based on the hit arcade hockey game, never made it
to the NES. The screen-shot above was taken from the SNES version
of the same name. It's worth a mention--just because.

Ice
Climber is first generation arcade classic that, although
showing its age, still is quite a bit of fun. The point of the
game is to navigate your little Ice Climber fellow to the top
of the 31 mountains. The trademark Nintendo list of crazy characters
are all here, too: sunglass-sporting polar bears, seals paving
ice platforms, and...eggplant.

you know me at all you know how I feel about Ice Hockey;

system. Don't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise. Just play
