7. Super Pitfall

The Pitfall games on the Atari 2600 were great games, so it seems like they would all be great games, right? Wrong. Turns out the two Pitfall games on the Atari are the two best in the series, and all the others are crap (with the exception of Mayan Adventure on the Snes). Super Pitfall happens to be the worst out of all of them. All the little things in this game add up to cause some major problems. The point of the game is to find Harry's cat and a diamond out of hundreds of different screens. It could have been easy, but the game is a victim to poor programming. Sometimes there are pits that are impossible to jump, sometimes Harry will just fall through the ground, and sometimes there are enemies that can't be killed. Those are just a few of the things, but it's only like that sometimes. Other times it doesn't happen. This leads to much frustration, and eventually the destroying of Super Pitfall.
