9. Cool World

First off, the movie Cool World wasn't very good. Second, this game was probably rushed because at the time because the Nes was fading, and the movie was still pretty hot when it came out. Why anyone would want to play this game because they thought the movie was good is beyond comprehension. Let's start with the good. Cool World actually does have good graphics, everything is bright and colorful, and the characters are pretty detailed. Now that we're done with the good (quick, eh?), lets get to the bad. In the game you play as the main guy from the movie and must try and catch some chick by traveling through different worlds. This game might have been better if they had fixed up the control. You see, the game is played in semi-3d environments...but you can't move diagonally. It may not sound like much, but it makes a BIG impact on the play control. For some strange reason the developers made it where you have to press the button twice to use your weapon (which is this really crappy pen that takes about three seconds before it finally comes out), and if you only press it once you duck down. Well, since the enemies are constantly chasing you this helps in no way. There is this one pretty cool skateboarding level in the game, but you still can't move diagonally in it, so it still sucks pretty bad. Bad Control does dominate this list, but Cool World is the game that saw the worst of it.
