ICE HOCKEY: MODES
Fat vs. Average vs. Skinny

Undoubtly the funnest of
the undocumented modes is the various versus traits. A few examples
of some of the better ones are: Skinny guys vs. Fat Guys (one
team has the speed but the other can easily steal the puck), Skinny
Guys vs. Skinny guys (be sure to set the speed to the highest amount:
15, for extra insanity), Average Guys vs. Fat Guys (the more
advanced game player should have the fat guys and the other the average
guy), and the very comical Fat Guys vs. Fat Guys!
Try these out with a friend.
You can put endless amounts of twists into the game to ensure Ice
Hockey will remain inside of your NES!
Below is a traits table to help:

No Goalies

Expect the scoring to well
exceed 40 points whenever the no-goalie mode is triggered. It makes
play much more difficult to block shots from the net. To access this
mode:
On the Title screen,
while holding A and B on Controllers 1 and 2, press Start on Controller
1 for no goalies. This only works in a one-player game.
