| The Nintendo Entertainment System was superior
to other systems in its heyday thanks to the
great library of games, unique artechiture of
programming, and responsive controls. However,
being an eight bit machine, sound was not
a major selling point. Majority rules over this
fact, leaving developers to turn to simple beeps
for sound and "voice" effects to gain
a greater sense of reality into games.
This is an incomplete list of a few (sorted by technique), and
sound clips assoicated with each game, to
give you a better understanding of the grainy
sound-overs you may have missed before.
