FC Game Console USA Version
By: Justin Anderson

Origin: Gametech makes the system, but the "FC Game Console", the US edition, has the company name of Yobo on it
# of Games: N/A
Type: NESclone (NTSC, 72-pin game connector, 7-pin controller ports for all NES accessory usage)

SPECS: Size- 5 1/4" x 5 1/2" x 1 1/2"
POWER- Input: 120v 60Hz 4W
Output: 9VDC 200ma

Gametech gave us one of the best Famiclones in the Neo Fami. When Yobo brought the system to the US, they included a pin converter to play NES games. Now, Yobo has taken another step, revising the Neo Fami themselves to take not only 72-pin NES games, but licensed controllers as well.

The system is near-identical to the Neo Fami, with a new cartridge slot. Not only wider, but turned so that games can be attached with their labels forward.

Gone is the 9-pin controller slot, replaced with an NES 7-pin connector. The included Neo Fami controllers have the appropriate connectors. However, these feel a bit less responsive than Neo Fami controllers. But NES controllers work fine.

The system uses the same AC adaptor and AV out as the Neo Fami. It's available in either white w/red, silver w/black, or blue w/white. Tests with games went well, even PAL titles, though games that had trouble on the Neo Fami most likely will here.
