La NES Creche
Something that started as a brillant idea,
and one to be duplicated by others for their pranks section,
(a proven way of knowing how good something really is- if
others follow) came out quite well. To rally against the 'bad'
sites, and the ones that seldom update, Lisker started the
webpage on the free web server Angelfire.
The general flavor of La Nes Creche, obviously,
took on a flamboyant French persona. One of the great (er-
pitiful) things Lisker had to work with were the
number of bad NES sites that obscured people's views of whether
a site in the scene was just a joke or, in fact, the real
deal. And then he tried hard to make it look bad. Having only
4 sections ('what is a nes', 'pictures', 'links', and 'praise')
each barely containing any content. Even worse, most of the
images were either taken from other sites (NES Player being
one of them) or even directly linked to its remote sites.
The results were varied, leading some to believe
and others knowing from the start.
Image Linking
One of the more clever things Lisker (Antoine)
did was link directly to a site. Some of them being The Warpzone, This Old Nes,
and RoyalRanger's NES Site.
The funniest, however, was TNCA which the webmaster found out
about him linking directly to his images and so he replaced
the linked image with a gay pornographic banner of Antoine
supporting it.
