Our next rejected game is Bob Saget Presents Hot Beach Volleyball. Its purpose was obvious: plaster a famous person on the box and flood the game with advertisement for means of quick money. And Bob Saget was the man for the job! As seen in the picture on the left, the game's English was not coded very well (that is, except for the names of the various ad companies).

At that time, Full House was at its peak and America's Funniest Home Videoes was one of ABC's top line up shows. It was decided that the star of the two shows, Mr. Saget, would be the chose as featured in the game. Hesitant at first, Bob swiftly jumped on the idea after being shown the cash amount.

Basically, the project was mapped out as a general mediocre volley ball sim with the graphics to match. The only eye cathcer that stood out about the game were the bombardment of advertisements.

Every screen in the game had about 4 ads, at a minimum, from about 12 companies in all. After a year in development, the time it took to get paid from the advertisers, on the last month of the project disaster struck.

Saget's career was at its lowest time. People grew tired of Michelle (Full House) because she was no longer cute anymore. The only audience the show pulled in were pre-teens drooling over DJ. The producers (of the show) spotted the downfall and decided it would be their last season running the show.

The same can be said with America's Home Videoes.

These changes forced Bob to go back to his routine- doing stand-up comedy. Needless to say after his first public attempt, the game was cancelled. It was sheduled for a next month release when they decided to can the game.

*Note: If it isn't obvious enough, these games are completely fiction and have never been discussed as REAL game titles. Nintendo is in no way involved with any games mentioned in this section. It's all in good fun.
