Quick Walkthrough

The game begins with the gang crowded together discussing their newest assignment: rescuing their neighbor's cat. It's a simple task, but they learn later there is much more to the story.

Zone 0

This level should be a breeze for even the most novice players. Mechanical bulldogs and robotic rats are your main enemies here.

If you are new to the game, and are conscientious of yourself, getting a game over in this game really won't help your self-esteem.

Play it safe and uncover every crate you see. Pick up all flowers and stars. The more you collect, the closer you get to a 1-up. Flowers are a dime a dozen, but stars can be trickier to find. Some, like in this zone when you jump across the cactus, are triggered by jumping to certain areas. 10 of these stars will cause a 1-up star to float by.

Atop the gray platform rain veins (?) is the very first item box of the game. Inside is Zipper that will grant you invincibility, which means you will be able to walk through enemies and their attacks without being harmed.

If, for some reason, you have already taken a hit there is an acorn at the end of the platform where you found Zipper. Grab it and take along one of the crates because there is a bulldog on the next screen.

After climbing the second platform, things begin to get a little tricky. Learn to use your defense- approach an enemy and quickly press down while holding a crate. The bolts-for-brains robotic rats (and a lot of the other moving baddies in the game) will approach you and hit the crate/concrete block. Those kind of people whom I mentioned before may not like this strategy, but I could not play without it!

Traveling with a concrete block is the safest way to get through most levels without breaking a sweat. So, do it!

At the end of this final platform a bee will fly across the screen. Use your defense, continue on, hit the remaining bull dog, and go into the building.

HOLY HARD ACORNS, CHIP AND DALE! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CRATE THAT I WAS HOLDING?! Unfortunately when you enter other areas of a zone, the item you were holding disappears. (If you hold UP, your guy will still hold his hands up.)

More patrolling robotic rats roam around inside. You will also have to stack concrete blocks to get past mid-way. Remember to use the defense strategy when you get near a rat!

At the end of the building is a chewed through hole in the fence. Go through this. Monty will then pass through the screen, collect the cheese in the middle, and make another opening at the other end. Does this make any sense at all? Oh, lightened up... it's a Disney game, for Goofy's sake!
