Have you ever stumbled
across a Gamestop, found some NES games, and wished
you had the rarity guide handy on you? I have heard
your cries loud and clear, and came to a simplistic
solution: convert the popular list to be viewable on
TI graphing calculators.
"What's the
technical side of this project, then?" You gotta
get the prog into your calculator's memory! This is
what you need:

- 1 TI-83/+ link cable
- TI-83/+ software available
@
I GOT THE HOOK-UP!
Connect and tighten the TI link
cable to the COM port behind the computer's tower.

Attach the other end of the link
cable to the bottom port of the TI 83 calculator.
Turn the calculator on.
Transferring files
Download the appropriate TI
software and install. Next download the below files:
NES0.83P
NES01.83P
NES02.83P
NES03.83P
Start TI-GRAPH, located in the
program files directory, and open up the .83P files.

From the link tab, choose 'Send To'
and 'RAM'.
A new window will pop up, asking
for files to be added. Choose NES0.83P from the list,
hit 'Add', and 'OK'.

You now have part 1 of
4, NES rarity guide on your own TI! Uber nerdiness,
dude.
Using the list
 |
 |
| Find prgm NES1F from the
program list. (press PRM for list) |
ERR:SYNTAX should appear.
Not to worry, push 2 or choose 'Goto' option
to view the list. |

BOOM!
There it is, the #-F of the guide. Scroll
down to see all of the games. (You
*should* probably know the game's title
to begin with, or you'll be searching for
some time.)
Archiving and
Loading the other Parts

The TI's memory is limited, but
thanks to archiving, you can fit all four parts of
the guide at once in the calculator.
In the software 'Link' tab, choose
'Send to' - 'Archive'. This will store the files in
the calculator's excess or "storage" memory
to free up its working RAM. To view archived and
unarchived files...
Push the 2nd
key and then the + sign to get into the Memory menu.
Choose 2 option (Mem Mgmt/Del...), and on the next
screen, 1 option - 'All'.
Every stored program and file is
listed here. To archive, or store it out of the RAM's
memory, choose the file and press 'Enter'. An asterix
symbolizes the file is now in archive and cannot be
used until taken off storage. To unarchive, press
'Enter' again.
