.::INTRODUCTION::.
(thanks to www.world-of-video-games.com
for posting the instruction
manual for the game)
WHAT NOIVE!
Somebody's wrecking New York City! Or
maybe it's a whole gang!
Wherever you go, hooligans jump out and
knock you down. Can you imagine
the noive!
For instance, try strolling on the wharf,
and get flapped by a fish.
Or go skateboarding Central Park --
you'll get shredded by dive bombers.
And with loonies everywhere, what a time
for a brownout in the Bronx!
This is what the NOID is up against, and
more! In fact, it looks
like his duplicate Mr. Green is causing
all the antics. That's double
trouble!
But the NOID's got plenty of ammo --
supernatural powers, incredible
inventions, and a whiz-bang yo-yo. He
just needs a pizza every now and
then to keep him going!

.::THE PIZZA CONTEST::.
After every odd numbered(1,3,5, etc.)
level, you have to participate in a
pizza contest with another Noid. The game
is pretty simple. You have a
selection of pizzas on your side, and the
other Noid has his
selection(usually higher than yours).
The object is to get more pizza than the
local champion Noid. To get the
pizza, you must win the difference. For
example, if the other Noid
chooses 2 pizzas, and you choose 3, you
win that round because you have
the difference of one pizza. So you get
that one pizza. You must fill
up your pizza meter completely to win.
The competing Noid will always
have to fill up 18 slots. Here is a
breakdown of the games, and the
slots you must fill.
Game: You: Him:
Game 1 10 18
Game 2 12 18
There are also some items you can use in
the pizza contest:
Item: Effect:
Red Pepper Noid won't eat the pizza
Pepper Noid won't eat the pizza
II Symbol Doubles your pizza amount
III Symbol Triples your pizza amount
Use a II or a III when a Noid chooses a
low number like 1 or 2. If they
choose a high number like 5 or 6, use the
pepper or red pepper.

.::WALKTHROUGH::.
###########
# STAGE 1 #
###########
Stage 1 moves up and down. If you
are on a low level platform, and end
up in the water, you automatically die.
Beware of the fish jumping up from
the water. It is easy to hit them
and die.
###########
# STAGE 2 #
###########
Stage 2 is an ice board. Beware of
the slippery floor, or you could end
up sliding off into a hole.
The stationary ice platforms start
crumbling after a short time of
standing on them.
The best method of landing safely
on the moving ice blocks, is to jump
towards them, then turn in the opposite
direction. This kills a lot of
your momentum, which could throw you off
the edge.
There is a hidden area in this
board. To reach it, after the first 2
moving ice blocks, you should find an
area of stationary ice platforms.
There should be 3 on the bottom, and 2
raised up a bit, then a hole, then
two more. Get on the first section of 2,
and jump in the air. You
should enter a whack-a-mole game with
hockey players.
Get 15 hits on the whack-a-mole
game, and you will automatically beat
the board, and get an extra continue.
###########
# STAGE 3 #
###########
Stage 3 requires the usage of the
Hyperboard(skateboard).
When going downhill, you'll start
flashing. When in this state, you can
kill enemies by running into them.
There are a few big jumps towards
the end of this stage. Make sure you
jump at the last second, or you could end
up missing and falling in a
hole.
###########
# STAGE 4 #
###########
Stage 4 takes place upon the
rooftops of the city.
If you kill the enemy on the Pizza
Crusher, you get to use it. The
Pizza Crusher gives you the ability to
simply jump on enemies to kill
them. Eventually wears out.
There are many challenging jumps in
this board. Get used to them here,
because you'll have many, many more later
in the game.
The balloons will turn to stone and
drop if you run underneath them.
###########
# STAGE 5 #
###########
Stage 5 takes Noid to the sewers.
Keep an eye out for water drops,
and fire.
While on the floating crates, you
may see flying fish jump up at you.
Do not worry, while your floating on the
crates, the fish usually miss
you.
###########
# STAGE 6 #
###########
You return to the ocean in Stage 6.
This time your at the harbor.
When you land on the little boats,
they start moving. You do not need
to use these boats all the time. For the
most part you can run across
the board on the docks. Only occasionally
will you need the boats.
Beware of the cannon balls and
cannons. The smoke from an exploding
cannonball can kill you. Also, when at
the cannons, do not stand near
the front of them because you can still
get shot. Stand near the back of
them.
The dock symbol causes docks to
rise up in front of you.
The yellow frog about a third of
the way through the board can not be
killed.
###########
# STAGE 7 #
###########
Ah, the good ol' circus, which
happens to be where Stage 7 takes place.
This is a scrolling board. Meaning
that the board moves whether you
like it or not, and it takes you with it.
Do not touch the skull in this
board. It will put a curse on you,
slowing you down to snail speed. Also
causing you to be pushed along
with the board, which will end up getting
you killed.
You can jump on the horses backs,
but be careful, they will slide off
their poles.
###########
# STAGE 8 #
###########
Stage 8 introduces you to the
Ornithopter, use the A Button to keep
from
falling into oblivion.
This stage can be a bit
challenging. There are a lot of enemies
to
dodge, and you can't use your yo-yo. Use
magic spells to kill enemies.
###########
# STAGE 9 #
###########
Entering Stage 9 takes you to an
abandoned warehouse.
Beware of the mice with balloons.
They drop the ever annoying skulls.
The skulls will slow you down to the pace
of a snail.
If you see a little grey thing on
the ground, it is a can. Get close
enough and it sparks to life and jumps at
you!
############
# STAGE 10 #
############
Looks like the Noid has wandered
into a bad area of town as he enters
the slums of the city.
Beware of the enemies launching
bottles at you.
Keep an eye out for the trash cans
being thrown. They bounce once then
roll, jump them as they are rolling. Or
kill them with your yo-yo for
3000 points.
When facing the enemy who throws
the bricks, use magic on him. It will
make things a lot easier doing this. If
not, it is near impossible to
kill him with your yo-yo.
############
# STAGE 11 #
############
Stage 11 leads Noid to the local
factory.
Moving onto some areas triggers a
bright flash. After the flash, crates
will begin falling in random places.
Dodge them the best you can.
Gray boxes will occasionally fall
diagonally throughout the stage. They
can come at the worst possible times.
Moving back when you see them
usually gets you out of their way.
############
# STAGE 12 #
############
Your coming down the home stretch
with only a few stages left. Just
finish up the power plant, and you have 2
more stages to go.
The power plant features moving
floors. These can be a real hassle when
it comes to enemies. Just try to hold
back until you can find the
perfect moment to attack.
Keep an eye out on the machines
that produce electricity. Wait until
they stop then quickly run past them.
############
# STAGE 13 #
############
The tower is the second to last
stage, featuring a long upward board.
There are only 3 types of enemies
in this board, but they are annoying.
The machind enemy throws gears at you,
but luckily they have a short
distance. The flowerpots bounce all over
the place and can be a major
hassle. The third enemy is a guy who
throws barrels down the stairs.
Jump over them and hit him with the yo-yo
and everything should be okay.
Near the end, the board turns into
a scrolling board. Forcing you
upwards, jumping from platform to
platform.
############
# STAGE 14 #
############
For the final stage, Noid takes to
the air again in his trusty
ornithopter.
This board is one of the easiest in
the game. Just make sure you pay
attention to where you are going, and
everything should be fine.
Make sure you pick up all the
symbols you can. Any little bit will help
you in the final boss battle(a pizza
eating contest with Mr. Green).
There is a point in this board
where the control will slow down
tremendously. It is when you encounter
your first enemy who is flying
also. Just hold back until it goes back
to normal speed.
If you run into trouble with the
enemies, use the Light Burst magic
spell. It will destroy all the spikes on
the stage. Although it does not
affect the flying enemis.
###############
# BOSS BATTLE #
###############
(the boss battle is just another pizza
eating contest)
Mr. Green will not have any 1's.
But he will have 2's. When he uses
them, use a II or III with a 4. This will
give you a major advantage
over him.
Try to not use the 1's.
It is okay for Mr. Green to get a
few pizzas, don't try to keep him from
getting any, or you'll waste all your
good cards.
Use the pepper and red pepper when
Mr. Green uses a 5 or 6.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
.::MAGIC SPELLS::.
Name: Effect:
Light Burst Flashes on the screen,
killing most enemies
Dark Noid Speeds Noid up, also allows him
to jump higher
Pizza Crusher Shakes the whole screen,
killing ground enemies
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
.::TIPS::.
Take your time, this is the best
tip I can give you.
Always use your yo-yo, you never
know when you'll discover a hidden
symbol. Great at finding 1-Ups, II's, and
III's.
Use the invincible item in scrolls
to quickly get through a board.
Sometimes it is better to run from
enemies rather than always fight.
Don't waste time in the pizza
eating contest.
Use your 1's in the pizza eating
contest against a 2 or 3. That way the
opposing Noid won't get to many pizza's,
but you will be able to save
your major cards for higher numbers.
It is a good idea to go out of your
way to find II's and III's. They
are extremely helpful.
